Geopark Karawanken-Karavanke is a geological park straddling the border of Austria and Slovenia. It includes parts of the Austrian Province of Carinthia and the Slovenian Region of Koroška in the southeastern zone of the Karawanken mountain range. Since 2013, it has been part of the European and international Geopark network under the auspices of UNESCO. It encompasses 14 communities – 9 in Austria; 5 in Slovenia – and a total area of 1,067 km².
